Regardless of how you travel, your starting point will be outside The Crown public house on the High Street in Woodstock. From here it is a 5 – 10 minute walk to the secret green gate that will give you free access to Blenheim Park. If your plans allow, I thoroughly recommend spending time enjoying the shops, restaurants and cafes in Woodstock before or after your visit to the park.
The co-op supermarket opposite you is a good place to buy any last-minute goods. There are public toilets on the way to the Blenheim gate.
You will be parking in the free car park behind the fire station in Woodstock. Use postcode OX20 1JQ in your SatNav to get directions to the car park entrance.
As you enter Woodstock you will see the main Palace gates on your left. Ignore this entrance.
Carry on in to Woodstock for 1/4 mile and turn right into Hensington Road. Take care here as cars and pedestrians share the space. Take the left turn immediately after the fire station and the car park is on the left.
Leave the car park and walk back up Hensington Road into Woodstock. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and start point at The Crown is around the corner.
